Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
You can search for a job in Turkey through websites like http://www.kariyer.net. After you find one, your future employer must apply for your work permit. Foreigners can not apply for work permit in their own name or without having a job in Turkey. Application for foreigner who has residence permit valid in total for at least 6 months can be done within Turkey. For foreigners who are not residence permit holders, application must be done via Turkish Consulate in their home country.
Kind Regards,

Please advise, you help will be greatly appreciated.
If you are holder of touristic residence permit, your family is also eligible for touristic residence permit application as you can not be indicated as a sponsor in family residence permit application unless you have been work permit holder in Turkey for at least one year by now.

Hello
I am an Iranian married man without any children. I would like to know if we can buy a real state apartment worth 250,000 TRL and get our first year of residency in turkey and then extend our residency permit for following four years and in the fifth year of our residency buy another apartment worth 400,000 TRL to fulfill the minimum property value for applying for citizenship in turkey?
Or we should buy an 650,000 TRL house at first year and keep it for five years and then we can apply for citizenship?
If you purchase any property in Turkey and stay within the country for five years uninterruptedly, you can be eligible for Turkish citizenship after five years pass. Otherwise, if you purchase a property/properties, total value of which would be 250.000 USD or more, you can acquire Turkish Citizenship within 3-4 months after property purchase on basis of your investment.

Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
İf you find job in Turkey, your emloyer must apply for your work permit, which would be your residence permit in the same time. After staying in Turkey for 5 years on basis of your work permit, you can apply for Turkish citizenship.
İf you are considering settling down in Turkey, you might consider investing in property here. İn this way you can obtain residence permit, which later you can extend. After 8 years of stay in Turkey you can apply for long term (permanent) residence permit. İf the value of property would be at least 650.000 TL, after 5 years you also have a right to apply for Turkish citizenship.
There is no minimum value of the property anymore to be eligible for residence permit as a property owner and to gain a right for Turkish citizenship application after five years.

Sir, I am planning to visit turkey in February-2020 with my family. After reaching turkey can we apply for PR. Kindly confirm PR validity and when we renew and how can I get passport.
I am seeking some advice please. My 2 year residence permit will expire at the end of October. If I apply for a renewal now I can only leave the country for up to 15 days on the temporary permit. My work abroad have requested me to travel away for 4 weeks until the start of November. This would mean I will either overstay my current residence permit or breach the temporary permit if I apply for it now. Will I be stopped from leaving Turkey using either method? Which path will cause me the least problems please.
If you would leave Turkey before your current residence permit expires and come back in November, after you re-enter Turkey with new visa, you will be allowed to lodge new application for residence permit. Otherwise, you should lodge extension application as soon as possible and if you leave the country, you are supposed to come back to Turkey before expiration of your residence permit in order to finzalize your extension application.
Thank you for this. I think it will be easiest to let my Residence Permit expire then re-enter the country on a tourist visa and apply for a new Residence Permit. Thank you.
I am coming to Turkey on 23-09-2019. I want to Get TRC kindly help me with this as i want it to be done one quick basis. if i apply from other city in Turkey for TRC is it going to create any problem if i not live in that city and live another city. I am currently working in antalya and I have the residence permit card which expires in 1st December 2019 but my work contract expires on th 30th September 2019, does this mean my visa would expire as soon as my work contract finishes ? (Visa was given through my work, I don’t think it should but I want to be clear about it)
If you have work permit valid until December and you will extend your work contract, your work permit would not be cancelled. However, if you will not continue working in the same place, your employer should cancel your work permit as by the day when you leave your workplace. You can either apply for residence permit before the work permit will be cancelled or will need to leave Turkey within 10 days after cancellateion.

I want to know is this geniune requirement for work visa in Turkey, secondly i want to know how to track if your agent is true or scam what is the procedure to find it out please help me thanks.
Unfortunately, we do not have any informations about this job offer. However, the procedures and requested amount to pay are not relevant to work permit application in Turkey. We strongly recommend you to be careful and not to make any payments in advance as by your explanation, this offer most probably is a scam.
I have just started a new job, they applied for my work visa about 6 weeks ago and they said my visa should be arriving anytime soon. My work visa from my previous job was cancelled on August 14th so is no longer valid. I was wondering if I need to apply for a residency visa in the meantime until my new work visa comes, or does the fact that my employer has made the application allow me to stay here?
After you find a job in Turkey, your future employer must apply for your work permit. Foreigners can not apply for work permit in their own name or without having a job in Turkey. Application for foreigner who has residence permit valid in total for at least 6 months can be done within Turkey. For foreigners who are not residence permit holders, application must be done via Turkish Consulate in their home country. Work permit application can not be submitted basing on visa.
I have been an offered a job in Turkey, should I apply for the work permit by myself or they company will apply for me. And can I start working until I get my work permit.
My family is living in Turkey and our family is registered as a refugee under UNHCR. My father went to America 4 months before because of my Grand mother death in USA and my Father closed his refugee file in Göç office, if he return back to turkey to stay with us and can he get a Turkish Residence permit or Ikamat? Please guide and explain the procedure and tell us how we can proceed with his residence permit?
After your father enters Turkey with a visa, he will be entitled to apply for residence permit. You can read more about residence permit application procedures in our article below: Residence Permit
I have been offered a job by a company VOLTWOOD INC. they offered me the job without any interview. I note in there offer email that they need the employee to make a mandatory refundable deposit.
i shall be grateful if anybody can provide me with some detail of this company. Any information will be helpful
We do not know the details of this offer, however you should not make any payment in advance as this is not a common practise in Turkey for obtaining work permit and this offer most probably is a scam.

I am currently working in antalya and I have the residence permit card which expires in 1st December 2019 but my work contract expires on th 30th September 2019, does this mean my visa would expire as soon as my work contract finishes ? (Visa was given through my work, I don’t think it should but I want to be clear about it)
Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
Kind Regards,

Dear Ahmed,
Thank you for your comment.
Unfortunately, we do not have any informations about this job offer. However, the procedures and requested amount to pay are not relevant to work permit application in Turkey. We strongly recommend you to be careful and not to make any payments in advance as by your explanation, this offer most probably is a scam.

Good evening,
I have just started a new job, they applied for my work visa about 6 weeks ago and they said my visa should be arriving anytime soon. My work visa from my previous job was cancelled on August 14th so is no longer valid. I was wondering if I need to apply for a residency visa in the meantime until my new work visa comes, or does the fact that my employer has made the application allow me to stay here?
Many thanks
I am a sales professional with 9 years of sales experience with an MBA Degree. Now I want to move to Turkey for job. How can I?
Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
Kind Regards,
I have been an offered a job in Turkey, should I apply for the work permit by myself or they company will apply for me. And can I start working until I get my work permit.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
The company must apply for work permit on your behalf. You are only allowed to start working after work permit card will be issued.

Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
After your father enters Turkey with a visa, he will be entitled to apply for residence permit. You can read more about residence permit application procedures in our article below:

We do not know the details of this offer, however you should not make any payment in advance as this is not a common practise in Turkey for obtaining work permit and this offer most probably is a scam.
